Responsible Service of Alcohol or RSA is an institution of the New South Wales Government having been in effect for over 100 years. RSA is presently administered by the Department of Liquor and Gaming NSW, and generally relates to:

  • Intoxicated minors (anyone under 18)
  • Alcohol-related violence and crime
  • Drunk and disorderly patrons
  • Noise disturbances.

At Navado we may be able to assist you whether you are the RSA holder or an accusing party. If you are an RSA Holder we may be able to assist you in regards to offering advice on how to be compliant or if you are seeking advise or representation if you have been accused of noncompliance. Conversely if you are a party who has been harmed by an RSA holder we may be able to assist you where the Licensee may have been noncompliant.

If you are unsure of your obligations or rights in relation to the RSA, or if you have had contact with the regulating body in relation to alleged breaches of the Regulation, we recommend that you  call our firm on (02) 9233 4048 or send an email to info@navado.com.au and arrange an appointment to see one of our Compliance & Regulatory Law Solicitors.
