The work of a removalist may be regulated by the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA). AFRA is a non-governmental organisation which has established a Code of Conduct for its voluntary members. The AFRA Code of Conduct generally covers:
- Dealings with Clients;
- Premises;
- Staff;
- Vehicles and Equipment;
- Insurance;
- Dispute;
- Security Bond; and
- Advertising.
