Pursuant to NSW Law you may be required to microchip and register your pet within 12 weeks of being born, or before being sold or given away. There are some exemptions or special conditions provided including:
- Greyhounds;
- Service Animals;
- Nuisance Animals;
- Restricted Dogs;
- Dangerous Dogs.
where additional timeframes or restrictions may apply.
