The New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (“NCAT”) has been set up to deal with specific matters, including but not limited to, Consumer Disputes, Motor Vehicle Disputes, Strata Disputes and General Commercial Disputes.
Generally, NCAT is an alternative to having your matters resolved in Court. NCAT aims to lower stress and provide a cost efficient service to have matters resolved. NCAT usually aims to resolve disputes by Alternative Dispute Resolution processes such as Mediation and Conciliation.
