Credit activity includes, but is not limited to, providing credit under a contract, providing credit under consumer lease, holding trust funds and providing Credit advice. A person that engages in Credit activity may be required to hold a Credit Licence. The National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP) 2009, sets out regulations that persons with a Credit Licence must comply with.
