Disputed Guardianship:

A Guardian is a person that has been appointed to make personal or life decisions on behalf of a person unable to make their own decisions.

Matters relating to Guardianship are generally dealt with within the jurisdiction of the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), which has a Guardianship Division. This Division may appoint a Guardian, such as, Private Guardian, Public Guardian, Joint Guardians, amongst others. The Guardianship division may also make Guardianship Orders, including but not limited to, temporary limited orders, plenary orders and continuing orders.
