From 26 April 2016, the NSW Government introduced updated legislation relating to the registration and regulation of pools and spas. These regulations will often be of greater relevance if selling a property where there is a pool and/or a spa which is governed by these new laws  It may be the case that properties sold or leased with pools or spas must have:

  • A certificate of compliance; or
  • A relevant occupation certificate and a certificate of registration; or
  • A certificate of non-compliance.
