International Trade:

Overview FAQs Articles Locations

Generally in Australia, International Trade is regulated by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. Between these two interests, International trade is regulated fundamentally in three key ways being:

  • Free Trade Agreements;
  • Tariffs and Duties; and
  • Import Negotiations.

At Navado we may be able to assist you further in applying for the relevant licenses and permits which may be necessary for your international trade. Further if you have been accused of any applicable laws or regulations, Navado may be able to assist you in advising you about your compliance obligations and provide recommendations as to how to proceed with such allegations.

We recommend that you contact our firm on (02) 9233 4048 or send an email to info@navado.com.au and arrange an appointment to see one of our Compliance & Regulatory Law Solicitors.
