Quality Control:

Overview FAQs Articles Locations

 Quality controls are often in place for consumables which are made available to the public. Quality control is mandated for the following products:

  • Alcohol;
  • Animal Consumables;
  • Baby Consumables;
  • Food products for human consumption;
  • Pharmaceuticals.

Generally each area of quality control is regulated by an industry administered regulator, a federal regulator and internal business practices. It may be the case that a company which fails to produce compliant consumables may not only have breached their quality control obligations, but may also have breached a duty of care to consumers and been negligent in the production of their consumables. At Navado we would encourage you to contact us if you are of the view that you have been harmed as a result of noncompliance with Quality Control regulations.

If you are unsure of your obligations or rights in relation to Quality Control, or if you have had contact with the regulating body in relation to alleged breaches of the Regulation, we recommend that you contact our firm and arrange an appointment to see one of our Compliance & Regulatory Law Solicitors. Please call (02) 9233 4048 or send an email to info@navado.com.au to book a consultation.
