Property and leasing disputes are quite common both for commercial, industrial and residential properties. Such disputes can include complaints about the condition of the property, status of remedial work, and interference with the use and enjoyment of the property, for example nuisances such as excessive noise.
Alternative dispute resolution can be very effective in these types of disputes, and is often prescribed in the terms of a tenancy agreement. Alternative dispute resolution allows the tenant and landlord to discuss the issues in an effort to reach a resolution of the dispute. Whilst legal proceedings may also be available, by trying to resolve the dispute by a more informal means, it may prevent a total breakdown in the relationship between tenant and landlord.
At Navado, we have assisted both tenant and landlord in relation to various leasing disputes. If you wish to speak with one of our Property and Leasing Dispute Lawyers, please contact our firm by telephone on (02) 9233 4048 or send an email to info@navado.com.au.
