If you have been unfairly dismissed, you need to act quickly and you should assume that very strict time limits apply – in most cases of unfair dismissal, for example, a claim must be made within fourteen (14) days of being terminated.  In other cases, you may be receiving correspondence from your employer and it may be critical to respond urgently and without delay.  It is critical for you to obtain legal advice, especially when allegations are being made against you, such as allegations of discrimination, bullying, harassment, poor performance and in some cases, allegations as to criminal conduct.
