There are certain driving offences that will attract an immediate suspension of your drivers licence. These offences are:
- Driving unaccompanied by a supervising driver whilst the holder of a learner licence.
- Speeding in excess of 30km/h over the speed limit whilst the holder of a learner or provisional licence.
- Speeding in excess of 45 km/h over the speed limit.
- A serious driving offence causing death or grievous bodily harm.
- Middle or high range prescribed concentration of alcohol or committing other serious alcohol-related offences.
- A serious driving offence causing death or grievous bodily harm.
- An aggravated burnout offence.
- A street racing offence.
You can also be suspended for other driving offences including (but not limited to):
- Dangerous Driving
- Negligent Driving
- Furious Driving
- Predatory Driving
- Low Range DUI
- Speeding if your are on your provisional licence (P-Plates)
- Speeding in school zones
- Accruing too many demerit points on your drivers licence.
