Health Criteria:

As well as the criteria for approval of specific visas, such as whether you are married to an Australian for a partner visa, health requirements apply to all visas. If you cannot meet the health requirements, exceptions or waivers can be granted in a limited number of visa subclasses and circumstances. Health requirements are designed to protect the Australian community from public health and safety, minimise public expenditure on health services, and ensure Australians can access health care and services which may be limited.
