Franchising Law
Franchising Law is a speciality of its own, governed primarily by specific legislation. It involves many legal issues that are particular to Franchises and the Franchising Code. There are minimum legislative requirements that have to be complied with by franchisors. We know the 'ins and outs'.
We have acted for franchisees of various franchises over the years, including but not limited to, the Service Station Industry (advising on Commercial Leasing matters, the Oil Code, Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements), the recruitment industry as well as the real estate profession. You might be at a stage where you have already negotiated and signed your Franchise Agreement and you are now being singled out or, in your view, treated unfairly by the franchisor or companies related to the franchisor. Alternatively, you might be in dispute with your franchisor. In such circumstances, you might use our services to assist you to negotiate with the franchisor, or to resolve disputes.
Liquor Licensing
We can assist you with Liquor Licensing Applications to the Liquor Licensing Court. If Applications are refused or if you need legal representation in your Application, then we will be able to represent you at the Liquor Licensing Court.
